‘Pushpa: The Rise — Part 1’, which had been a hit in India and other diasporan markets such as the U.S., U.K., and U.A.E., was given a new lease on life when it started to be streamed on Prime Video.

“The OTT (streaming) reach has been significantly greater than the theatrical release of ‘Pushpa,” Arjun noted.

During its theatrical release, many people may have only seen it once or twice. After being made available on OTT platforms like Amazon, it has been watched multiple times. As a result of the highly interactive and unconventional platform, there is a significant crossover audience from other languages, regions, and nations. Furthermore, it made a splash as the most significant film (in India) of 2021.

Moreover, he elaborated on the feedback he received about the movie not only from Indians but also from foreign audiences. I didn’t perceive a significant contrast between the way urban Indians have watched the film and how foreigners are viewing it. Urban Indians are comparable to the audiences of other nations, in my opinion. “The feedback from urban audiences in India and beyond has been comparable, indicating their preference for the candidness of the film or performances,” he said.
