Lionel Messi Is Set To Reunite With His Former Team Mate Luis Suarez For The First Time At Inter Miami
Luis Suarez has been signed by Inter Miami, the Major League Soccer club, as they have teamed up with Lionel Messi, a former Barcelona teammate and close friend.
Having signed a contract with Barca for the 2024 season, Suarez has also been reunited with his former team-mates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba who won four LaLiga championships in five years.

A month ago, Suarez agreed to re-sign by Fabrizio Romano verbally, and the 36-year-old has signed a single-season contract with the possibility of another campaign, reflecting his mounting injury issues in recent years. Suarez and Messi, along with Neymar, won four La Liga, Copa del Rey titles, and the UEFA Champions League in 2015 together.
Following his five-time La Liga champion status with Messi, Suarez has agreed to a contract that runs until the 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
In addition to Messi, Suárez will also reunite with former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami, where he won four La Liga titles in five seasons and the UEFA Champions League championship.
Barca welcomed Suarez in 2014, and he played for them until 2020, scoring an impressive total of 195 goals and providing 113 assists in 283 matches. Prior to that, he was associated with Liverpool in the Premier League, where his record included 82 goals and 46 assists.
Argentina’s Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi were teammates in the 2014 and 2018 World Cup squad. So far this season, he has played in 42 matches across all competitions at the age of 37. As such, he also shows no signs of slowing down. With his experience and desire to win every match, the Argentinian will be just like Lionel Messi.
